Serving the Advertising, Business, Editorial and Travel markets for the last twenty years, Stephen R. Brown's client list is a veritable Who's Who in the publishing field. Among the many awards and shows he has participated in, he is proud to have photos displayed in two major shows at The Corcoran Gallery of Art: "Odyssey: The Art of National Geographic Photography" and "Indelible Images: Images of War from 1850 to the Present."

His resume and list of publications include essays in Smithsonian Magazine, LIFE, National Geographic Society book and magazine projects, and a host of other equally distinguished publications.

He has produced over thirty covers for Broadcasting & Cable Magazine, donated 12 images to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation's annual Calendar, raising some $50,000 dollars for environmental protection, as well as doing advertising for clients like AOL, Bristol Meyers Squibb, the White House, Cahners' Publishing and Times Mirror Corporation. He recently finished a book on the newly constructed WWII Memorial entitled "Jewel of the Mall." The book is a runaway success (for a self-published book) selling 15,000 copies in 15 months. He also teaches the Adobe Creative Suite is his studio and at the Maine Photographic Workshops.

Keeping up with digital developments, Stephen has also produced daily and weekly magazines for Cahner's publishing as well as introducing systems for archiving and storage of photographs.
